Reading Royals Synchronised Swimming Club is one of the most successful sports clubs in Reading. Established in 1969 and re-named to incorporate "Royals" in the title before the football team adopted it, the Club has has great success both nationally and Internationally. We currently have swimmers who were part of TeamGB London 2012 as well as athletes who are part of the Senior & Junior GB Squads and England Talent Development Squads
Synchronised swimming encompasses many attributes of sport: strength, power, flexibility, endurance, artistic expression and performance. We have a very supportive environment, which together with the high standard of coaching, enables swimmers to reach their full potential. On top of this, swimmers quickly make new friends and learn how to work in a team.
